well guess what, 2ND PLACE!!! Class of 2011 made history by being the first freshman class to ever reach 2nd place! woohoo, forreal though, 2nd place to freshmen is like winning already, i'm so happy!
all that stress, the last minute decorations we totally procrasinated to work on, the yelling, the drama, the sleep, the nervousness, the tension between classes, it all paid off! for these past four weeks, i've been getting less than 5 hours of sleep just because of trojan olympics, and i've never gotten to sleep in because 1). homework 2). practices 3). working on decorations, etc 4). even on weekends, i have church & other stuff. and i didnt even get to sleep in this weekend either! maybe next weekend, hopefully..
i give props to the other classes though, for cheering us on and supporting us, and we support the other classes too! however, i think karma bit '09 in the butt because they ripped down our decorations >:( hardwork put to waste, thanks guys. but who cares, we still got 1st place for it (=
trojan olympics, oh man, just standing outside getting hyped up with the freshmen. then coming in, with our entrance going all wrong, but i have no clue how we got 2nd but it was off the hook! then the dance, i totally lost nervousness and had hella fun, but i wish there was a video with all the freshmen and from a front view too. pyramid, oh man, i messed up, i forgot to yell "HOLLYWOOD" to signify spotters to pass the letters up, 3rd place wasn't that bad, but we didn't get last place in anything but games (= our spirit was so awesome too! i love my class of 2011. we smell a 3-peat coming on. watch out c/o 2007!
this experience was truly amazing, i really hope i get to experience it all four years.
here's a shoutout:
freshman class officers - good job guys, another project finished and accomplished! we put hella work in this planning stuff out and organizing everything, and thanks for always keeping me together whenever i felt like i was about to pull my hair out for stressing out so much!
freshman class advisors - thanks for always being willing to stay afterschool or come early just so we can finish some stuff up, and totally giving advice and opinions to what we had. seriously though, you guys are the backbone to our class, without you guys, we probably would of gotten last place!
freshman trojan olympics team - good job guys! sorry if i ever yelled at you guys, but it's really hard to keep people under control without showing some anger, but you know i'm not putting anything against you! you guys did awesome at trojan olympics, and i really know all of you guys did your best and had fun! next year, 1st for sure! oh yeah, props to the guys on the team!!! they never landed at the same time for their flips in "Hollywood Swinging" but for the first time and at the best time, they all landed perfectly at the same time!! i'm so proud of you guys!!!
FRESHMAN CLASS OF 2011!!! - you guys make not know it, but you guys are basically apart of our team. if you people out in the crowd weren't cheering and supporting everyone else, we wouldn't of reached 2nd place. you guys help us out a whole lot with the spirit points and everything, and wow, you guys just blew the upperclassmen away, you proved them all wrong. you guys totally went all out and showed everyone what we got!
i can't believe that we got 2nd place still, it's constantly in my head. like forreal, the first thing i think of when i wake up is 2nd place, and that's the last thing i think of before i sleep! i'm also constantly doing the dance too by myself which is retarded, but i'm gonna miss the practices and everything!! =(

march.
it's already march, and these months are surely zooming by faster and faster. january seemed like just a week ago. holy moly, and then 3 more months left of school. i'm sure it's going to come by fast. i'm looking pretty darn forward to summer 2008. conference?! what what! i like seriously wanna go, my journey with YFC has been long already and i just really wanna go to experience it and meet other people who have been in this blessed glorious youth group. i've been wanting to lead a meeting lately but unfortunately i have confirmation =/
first trojan olympics practice tomorrow! woohoo, i think that our class will do better than any other freshman class that i've watched on youtube/myspace, hahahaha, no offense. but yeah, from what i've seeeen =) i hope we do good! i can see me getting this big ball of stress from T.O. though, but whatever. usually when i get stressed out it feels totally awesome when everything is done with cause you're accomplished. it's all about the experience.
not to mention elections are coming up already again! i think i'm settled with staying at vice president, so i'll be running for sophomore vice president yo! ;D
i've been looking in my closet lately and it's jammed with too many clothes, especially a bunch of jackets, too many of them in fact, which i haven't bothered to use. argghh. so, i've decided to budget my money and i have to write down every single thing i spend money on. my mom always gives me a bunch of allowance but i usually have no clue where it went after it's all gone. i especially need to break the habit of wasting my money on food or drinks or anything i really don't need to buy. i wanna be able to save more money for conference because it might be in florida, and what a great big plane ticket that will be! =(
oh yeah, i got my spanish family tree and oral presentation over with! i did better than i thought! a 92% plus extra 5 points for turning it in early, meaning 97%. wooohoo, and biology, i've begun to understand it way more and i've been nailing the quizzes down more than i have before. and i need to start getting back on extra credit though just in case, i think my grades will be fine this semester, but who knows. i also feel pretty productive in jewelry, i cant wait to wear that sucker i made ;D but hopefully ms. boyer doesn't like it enough where she'll want to put it in the art show :( well, my piece isn't even all that great anyways.
