What's the rush?

"I can't wait until the day you get a boyfriend Crisann. Like omg it's gonna be soooooo cute I seriously can't wait!"

Those words taunt me everyday. I'm a teenage girl, and I barely know a single girl my age who hasn't, or doesn't, have a boyfriend. I have yet to experience those true "butterflies" or whatever you wanna call em.

I've rejected many guys though, which I'm not proud to say. But I must say, they should of been so stalker-status. o_O

I've had some what we now call, "interests" now and there. But they come and go pretty fast because of my actions, sayings, or I don't know. Lost interests?

Hearing all these love songs, pictures, stories, profiles with dates, MySpace statuses, I can't help but think, when will it be me? (thank you Yasmeen for making a song I can relate to, hahaha)

But I'm in no rush to fall in love. God's love will always do good. =) Besides, it's not like anyone's gonna settle down and get hitched anytime soon! =P

Anyways, Like You'll Never See Me Again by Alicia Keys never fails to hit me.

Yesterday.

So, yesterday I woke up thinking tomorrow was gonna be a boring ass day. I just sat on my butt fixing up my class MySpace but I'm not even done yet, lots of things got effed up. But then, my sister and Jerms came over and ended up watching a part of "Charlie Bartlett" which was said to be like Juno, but I'd have to disagree. It was really weird. But maybe because I only watched the middle to the ending so yeah. Then after, I talked to Michelle and decided to go to her house in which we would head over to Jonathan Pham's party. So I got ready, then had to wait for her to finish her laundry.

So as I waited, I helped Gian and Jerms wash Gian's car. One word: FAIL. hahaha. Then Michelle said it was coo to come over so I got dropped off, and at first just talked to her then Kevin came over and had some good ass laughs. Then we helped her fold her big ass pile of laundry! After, her mom drove us and dropped us at Cardoza since we weren't sure where to go. Relying on my iPhone maps, we try getting to Jonathan's house but I get hella confused on which part of Cardoza Park we were at. WE SHOULD OF FOLLOWED MY FIRST INSTICT but then I changed my mind and we went the other way, but then decided to stop and ask someone to come get us HAHA. No one came, so we just ended up getting directions from Jonathan. It was a long ass walk, and we finally get there following the noise of yells and cheers and such. Then I see hella people I didn't expect to see there, and give hella hugs because majority of them I haven't seen since school ended! =( (like a month ago) I get hella sweaty from that though because I gave hella big ass hugs! Then I settled down a bit and just chilled and talked to people. Watching Matt eat a oyster and just keep it in his mouth = owned. HAHAHA so gross. I hate oysters
Soooon, they set up a screen outside because they were gonna project the movie outside. Pretty sick I must admit, props Jonathan. We were watching Love Actually but four words: boobs and dry humping. So gross, but some people got immature so they changed the movie to The Orphanage. I already watched it like three times so I was all whatever. Got kinda annoyed how people just close their eyes the whole movie because they think something scary is coming but it's not HAHA but it's all good! =) But then I had to go since Michelle was leaving and I was going back to her house since my sister didn't know where Jon's house was. Had a brief but good talk with Michelle before she came then I went home.

Fun day, I just realized how much I miss hanging out with all my friends. I feel as if my summer has been more YFC centered.. being so caught up and busy with the Musical and Conference (which I don't regret) and all. But yeah, I miss them. MORE HANGOUTS BEFORE SUMMER ENDS PLEASE?! =)

ps: Praise the Lord. I've realized ever since Conference I've let go of all hate and grudges. And I'm beginning to find my real self out yet, even though it hasn't shown yet ;)

How great is our God?

God is REALLY great. He never ceases to amaze me. I've been meaning to blog that finally being on an airplane and traveling long distances, and just looking at Earth and it's great beauty really takes me away. It's amazing how God put this world together, and brought us on it. The mountains, the grass, the trees, the water, they're all so beautiful. Yet, sometimes we don't take the time to appreciate it. People litter, people smoke, people trash this paradise in disguise that God gave us. RECYCLE BEEZIES!! =(

I kinda wanted to share today at CFC-Y, and it was the first meeting I went to in heeella long. A time I felt God's greatness was mosdefinately at Conference. Praisefest. When we had Adoration, I honestly didn't think anything was gonna happen. 'cause during Confirmation, we had monthly Adorations and they'd say God was present, but yeah... I believe in God in all, but I've always had doubts in him actually being present in our room spiritually. But praisefest at conference changed my mind. People began to cry out in his name, in sadness or joy, who knows? I witnessed two girls in front of me faint, I was hella scared. I don't know what happened, but I would like to say they were in the presence of the Lord. =) and someone testified having season the Holy Spirit and the angels. I swear, my heart was up in the high and that was how my faith was truly uplifted.

God, you are great. At times we think we have nothing, but really, we are spoiled. We have your love and that's all we need. =)

Still off that high.

I feel like I'm still off that spiritual high ever since Conference. And it's still at it's peak, it ain't going down!

How does it feel? Lemme explain it to you... you know that fuzzy feeling when you hug someone? You feel the LOOOOVE you know? Yeah, I'm being a cheeseball, but that's how it feels! Or kinda like how you feel when something neat happens between you and a crush, like omg he nudged me! BUTTERFLIES! But you know, this isn't that fake kind of love, this is God's love. God's love is so motherfizzling beautiful. If only everyone lived like this everyday.

His love is warming my heart so much I feel like I'm happier than ever and more able to bust out a smile. Yet, I'm still learning to look at the best in people instead of paying attention to their flaws. I'm really working on humbling myself like that, it's very very hard.

God... you're so great!!! You bless everyone, all day, everyday, with your love and forgiving heart. Unconditional love man. =)))

Anyways, went to the mall today with Michelle D., Kristina, Kevin M., Raymond, Andrew, Russell, Matt, Karl, Troy, and Tito. We watched Dark Knight. It was good, but I expected hella more out of it. I think people's bulletins just pumped me up too much, so my expectations were high. I hella needed to pee during the movie, and as I was about to run to go, Kristina blocked me. -___- Talk about PEE BLOCK. hahaha. Then we ate after, then hit up Starbucks, messed around, and then I left. It was cool seeing them since most of them I only talked to online cause of mutual friends and blockles. HAHA.

YFC TOMORROW?!?! Please... =(

One God, One Love

Roughly 24 hours ago I got back from my very first National CFC-Y Leaders Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm still on that high He gives us. I keep thinking that "I'm back in reality" now that conference is over, but I want to keep living like this: worshipping God, giving him all my praise, and simply loving others just as he loves me. I need to turn that reality now into my daily life. My soul is literally like overflowing with his love right now I have butterflies everywhere, I'm just so happy!

I left on Thursday morning at 3am to go to Martin's house since I was carpooling with him and some other brothers of mine. Couldn't sleep on the way there because I was way toooo excited but Randy and Big Bro knock out and snore. =P When we get there, we kinda panic trying to figure out our confirmation number for our tickets since Tito Edwin didn't give it to us since we were going without them but we get it. Then, weend up getting smacked in our faces we couldn't switch tickets... cause Nicole was leaving early so Big Bro and Jerms switched their ticket so she wouldn't go alone. And since me and Randy carpooled with Martin, we had to switch tickets too. We got some stupid workers who gave us hella attitude and didn't help us, and made stupid decisions. We almost just had to wait at the airport until 8:00pm (which was our original flightplan) when it was 4:00am -_________- but we got a standby ticket for Las Vegas. Martin checked his luggage in and we went to the gate.

We were pretty darn hungry so we sat in front of BK waiting for it to open, but realized it'd open when we had to board the plane. And to top it off, we asked the lady if we could get any easier way to get to Jacksonville faster because there was no guarantee we would get to Florida from Las Vegas. We were pretty mad/scared. She said there was a way, but she couldn't change it anymore because Martin checked in his luggage since the first lady made him. ARGGHHH! and so yeah, we got on the plane for Vegas like at 6:00 and we got to Vegas at I forgot.. 7 or 8am-ish? We hella prayed on the plane that we could get a ticket to Jacksonville, otherwise we'd be stuck there.

PRAISE THE LORD FOR HENRY PASCUA. A very kind man who helped us get our route straight and set to go to Jacksonville, Florida. From Vegas, we went to Chicago. We were there for hella long and we were starving. We ate McDonalds, and dude, McDonalds (which I hate) never tasted so good and warm in my stomach!!! We waited at the gate, but our flight got delayed hella times for several reasons: 1). Mechanic Inspection 2). Thunderstorms (if there wasn't an inspection we would of beat them -_-) 3). Flight Attendants weren't there yet. but soon we left, and got to Jacksonville at 1amish. We got there the same time as James and Gian. When we got there, I hella just wanted to kiss the floor and everything.

Later on, we met up with Sarah and Michelle B. and then Gian and James and stuff and the Couple Coordinators picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at their hou to stay the night since conference didn't start until the next day. HEEEELLA nice house!! They had a big pond in their backyard, wait, maybe lake. Then their house was big! They had a pool table too. But yeah, all the girls slept in one room and yadidyayaa. Picture whoring with the girls =)

The next day we got ready, ate, took pictures again and went to University of South Florida to register. It was pretty darn packed. Then we put our luggage in the dorms and walked to the main University campus. Had lunch at Sbarro's pizza (which was disgusting) then walked to the Arena where all the stuff was gonna happen. It wasn't open yet, so we just took pictures and everything. Funfunfun. DID I TELL YOU the weather is hella hot and humid there? Just think the feeling of being in a small room where everyone is moving and sweaty so it gets hot and you feel sticky. Gross. But I think I'd rather have that than dry hotness like in California. Yeahyeahyeah. Arena opened, we had rosary + mass. Then dance competitions. Oh yeah, rolllllll calllll! Southwest was hella known for blownhorns HAHA they called us out hella times. I was too cheap though so I used those party blower thingies =) I really liked Talk 1! But crap I don't remember what it was called :( but it was pretty funny and everything.

There's so much that happened and my fingers are starting to hurt from typing. But I learned so much and got so much closer to God and my brothers and sisters. John 13: 34-45. Love one another as I have loved you. Amen. I am seriously going to take this in more everyday, even though I know some people already broke it lol. But yeah, this is a weekend I'm never going to forget. I met so many new people, new experiences, conference crushes :):) and omg, having the dorm to ourselves Sunday night and playing tag and everything in there was HELLA FUNN. not to mention cry wolf! So many good laughs, but I seriously lost pounds there. When I came back, my parents said I loooked like I lost weight so I weighed myself and I lost 2.5 pounds -_- WTF. It was because the walk from the dorms and arena was hellllla long and we had to walk back and forth so many times, and everytime we got to eat it was pretty nasty.

Conference 2009: Southwest region. CALIFORNIA?!?!?! =)

"All of my life, in every season, you are still God, I have a reason to sing... I have a reason to worship." <3

4th of July

Happy 4th of July everyone! Well actually now it's the 5th of July.

Today I went to my cousin's house, and I probably pained a freakin' pound or two. Ribs, calamari, spaghetti, crab, and a piece of crap tasting oyster. How could I resist? Also spent some time watching "Vantage Point", which is also another movie I recommend checking up from the redbox or Blockbuster. It's an action/suspenseful (not in a scary way) movie that is pretty darn unique and haven't seen anything like it. I got to watch a bunch of fireworks go off from different places since my cousin lives up in the Evergreen hills. It was pretty nice, but when we started lighting our own fireworks, smoke got everywhere, even in the pictures! =X

At the same time, I'm pretty relieved right now! Got an email from Tito Edwin saying we only have to pay a remainder of $80 dollars for our flight, and $17 for an extra day since deporting on a Sunday would be way more expensive. So pretty much, registration ($180) + flight ($80) + extra day ($17) = $272 for conference. Totally not as much as I expected to be paying for Conference and I'm so damn relieved. I thought I'd spend $300 for the airfare. If I hadn't decided to go to Conference this year, I would of totally regretted it... for my 3rd time in a row. I'm hella even more excited to go now! Woohooo!! 6 more days until I finally get on an airplane for the first time and go out of a state other than California, Arizona, and Nevada. But dang, I wanna hit up Disneyworld! But I doubt we will.

GOD IS GREAT!
